We run two genuine outback 4WD adventures through the Simpson Desert region, each bookable on its own — or combined back-to-back for the full double crossing. Trip One runs from Birdsville to Alice Springs, tackling Big Red and the QAA, French and WAA Lines on the way to Poeppel Corner and the warm artesian waters of Dalhousie Springs. Trip Two runs from Alice Springs to Betoota, heading south past Chambers Pillar and Old Andado Station before crossing the desert again along the historic Madigan Line, first surveyed by geologist Cecil Madigan and his camel team in 1939. Book either trip individually, or do both for a full loop out of Birdsville — 15 days and around 2,600km of the very best of Australia's red centre and outback desert country.

With time to explore remote towns, ruins, restored buildings and a dip in the water holes this tour has so much to offer.

This tour is suited to families, singles & couples.

The Simpson Desert is suitable for swags, tents, Roof Top Tent's and small full off-road camper trailers for experienced drivers. - Swags and other camping gear are available for hire.

Please allow a couple of extra days in the case of break downs etc.
